CAMPING LIFE

What comes to mind when someone is generally asked about camping?

Tents, trees, bugs, fires, sleeping bags, mosquitos, flash lights, roasted marshmallows, hotdogs and hiking.

So what comes to my mind when I’m asked about camping?

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoy the outdoor life of camping, but tents, and being too close to the hard ground is something I stay away from.

My camping life is more of a glamping life that consists of a camper outfitted with a bathroom that has a flushing toilet, a kitchen with a sink, running water and a refrigerator. Soft beds, electricity, air conditioning & heat.

I love the trees with early morning coffee in the outdoor breeze. Burgers on the grill, swinging in hammocks and watching fireflies are a thrill. Catching the sun’s rays and taking walks throughout the days are the best memories I’ll always have of my camping days.

I love how stress free I feel when I go camping. How I won’t have endless errands to run everyday, I won’t have to worry about others dinners, do laundry, be in anyone’s way, or worry about anyone but myself for a little while.

I bring my crafts, my reading and download movies that I can watch. I actually have a lot of fun planned for myself.

The stress relief of camping really helps me unplug and get away from the everyday stress of my life.
