Own the things you have done or allowed in your life, don’t make excuses for yourself. Explaining is fine, everyone needs to “explain”, just don’t make excuses.
Start to know your value and worth, invest in “yourself” to make the changes needed. Love you, look in the mirror and see the you that other people see. See the quirky smile, your laugh, the kindness that shows through your eyes. See your inner self, your heart for giving and caring, your ability to listen and do for others.
Visualize who you want to be, where you want to be in your life.
What are your strengths? Think about them, write them down, and start building them up. Act positive, No is just a word, learn to laugh at yourself, stand tall and put energy into your actions, move on until you get the yes you need.
What are your fears and failures? Think about them, write them down, and start working on them. Start to know that you can beat them. Step forward and be strong and bold. Walk into a crowd with confidence and no apologies.
Do not criticize yourself, be that person to yourself that you are to your friends. You wouldn’t criticize them and put them down, so don’t do it to yourself.
Set small goals for yourself to achieve. The more you achieve the more strength you will find within yourself to set bigger goals.
Find what your stress relievers are: is it soaking in a hot tub, exercising, coloring, crafting, camping, painting? Write them down and start doing them, you will find yourself being much more relaxed and stress free.
This is just the beginning of a new and better you.
